Palsatech’s growth and internationalization are supported by increasing our resources, where a key focus is on hiring new key personnel for the company’s operational management. We have welcomed two experienced professionals to our team: Anne-Mari Syväjärvi has started as the Unit Manager in Kemi, and Johan Lindmark will be responsible for the Kiruna and Sala units.
Hiring these new key personnel is a strategic step to ensure we can progress and grow in accordance with our company strategy, while maintaining the high quality and occupational safety that Palsatech is known for.
Anne-Mari Syväjärvi – A process industry veteran developing operations in Kemi
Anne-Mari Syväjärvi took the reins of the Kemi unit in late March. With an engineering background, Anne-Mari has extensive experience in supervisory roles and leading teams of various sizes across several sectors of the process industry, including the paper, steel, and food industries.
Anne-Mari discovered Palsatech almost by chance through social media, and the company’s growth and dynamic approach made an immediate impression on her.

In her role, Anne-Mari manages the Kemi unit’s finances and personnel planning, while ensuring that projects transition smoothly into operational activity. While process management is at the heart of her work, she places a strong emphasis on human interaction and appreciates the warm, open welcome she has received at Palsatech.
Johan Lindmark – 20 years of leadership and a safety-first mindset for the Swedish units
Johan Lindmark has joined the team to lead the Swedish operations in Kiruna and Sala. Johan brings an impressive track record of over 20 years in supervisory and leadership roles across both small and large organizations. He has worked for major mining and technology companies, managing logistics, production, and maintenance. Consequently, Johan is well-versed in operating in challenging environments where safety is paramount.
Johan’s long background in demanding industry and the explosives sector has shaped him into a leader who never compromises on safety or quality. While mineral exploration is a new angle for him, he deeply values the professionalism with which Palsatech approaches safety matters.
As a leader, Johan prefers to be present in the field, acting as a hands-on mentor who enjoys brainstorming ideas and seeing people develop. In addition to his engineering expertise, he has studied leadership and psychology, which is reflected in his appreciation for teamwork, interpersonal understanding, and controlled business growth.

Both Anne-Mari and Johan bring a new spectrum of expertise to the company: knowledge that is essential as we grow toward becoming a more significant international player. Their experience helps us improve our methods and ensure that Palsatech remains a pioneer in the industry.
