Palsatech is expanding its operations in Sweden and opening a second PalsaCenter service facility in the country. The new center will be located in Northern Sweden, in the Kiruna region. The company already operates one service center in Sweden, located in Sala.
In line with its strategy, the company aims to grow internationally and introduce its unique service center concept to new markets.
“Opening the Kiruna service center is one of the first key steps in advancing our long-term strategy. Through the Kiruna center, we will be able to serve our customers more effectively and bring our services closer to them. The region is significant both in terms of exploration activity and mining operations, and we see strong market potential for the coming years,” says Janne Siikaluoma, CEO of Palsatech Oy.
Preparations for the Kiruna site are already underway, and the goal is to open the service center during February. Palsatech will begin recruitment for its Swedish operations later this year. The service centers provide a comprehensive range of solutions for the mining and exploration sectors, including geological sample processing, reporting, and storage.
“We have been offering services and products in Sweden for quite some time, and through the Sala service center we have been able to establish a solid presence. Expanding our service production to Kiruna is a natural next step as we aim to bring our services and expertise even closer to our Swedish customers,” says Riku Aho, International Strategy & Development Lead at Palsatech.
