Sales Manager

Palsatech is a Finnish company providing geological services, equipment, and technical solutions for the exploration and mining industry worldwide. Our operations span from the Nordics to global markets, with a strong focus on EMEA and North America.

 

We support our clients across all project stages, from early exploration to production, through tailored and high quality services and equipment. We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our Global Sales team, focusing on growing our product and service sales internationally, with a strong focus on North America and especially Canada.

 

Your Role

  • You will be responsible for developing and managing sales of Palsatech’s products and services. Your tasks include:
  • Managing and expanding customer relationships in your assigned regions.
  • Driving sales of equipment (such as core logging tables) globally and geological services locally in North America.
  • Identifying and developing new market areas and customer segments locally.
  • Working closely with operations, production, and development teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery.
  • Supporting marketing by giving new ideas for sales materials, presentations, and campaigns specific to your market areas.
  • Participating in trade shows, client meetings, and field visits.
  • Taking responsibility for leading sales in part of our business and helping to develop our sales processes as we grow

 

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a person with strong self drive who is ready to take ownership of sales in their area. You already have a good network in the industry, you can work independently and get things done, and you are also a strong team player and social person who builds long term customer relationships.

 

  • Proven experience in international B2B sales in mining, exploration, or related technical services.
  • A strong track record of using CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar) in a deep and structured way.
  • Experience in scaling sales into new regions or new customer groups.
  • Ability to work between sales, operations, and development teams, and manage complex customer needs.
  • Ability to work with high sales targets and take ownership of results.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

 

First Year Goals (examples to be finalized with the selected candidate)

  • Establish a strong sales pipeline in priority markets.
  • Bring in the first service customer projects in North America.
  • Build regional sales processes and reporting in HubSpot.
  • Support the launch of new service concepts in North America.

Head of Units

Your Role
You will lead the comprehensive management and development of our production units, including personnel planning and improving competencies and work practices. The role involves commissioning new projects into operational activity in close collaboration with geologists, geotechnicians, and clients. You will monitor the department’s revenue and, in the future, contribute to independent service sales. Additionally, you will support unit maintenance to ensure operational reliability and foster interdepartmental cooperation and operational model development as part of the company’s management team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Process Engineering, M.Sc. (Tech.), Geology M.Sc., or equivalent (extensive relevant experience may also be sufficient)
  • At least 3 years of experience in responsible roles within the mining and/or exploration industry
  • Strong initiative and willingness to develop yourself and our growing business in the region
  • Ability to be based in the Sala or Kiruna area and travel regularly between units
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (any level of Finnish is an advantage)
  • Experience and willingness to participate in sales and customer service

 

We expect you to have a positive, development-oriented attitude toward safety, quality, wellbeing at work, and efficiency. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and the International Strategy & Development Lead and act as a foreman for our skilled geologists and geotechnicians on site.

Our facilities, Palsacenters, focus primarily on geological and geotechnical logging, handling, and storage of drill core samples from various customers. Our employees also spend part of their working time at other company units or at customer sites. Palsacenter Sala has been in operation for around 18 months and Palsacenter Kiruna is going to be opened in the early 2026.
